more about what i have been up to later.

see you all around. can't wait to see your art work as well.

heck yeah! i got another piercing. and no i am still not done.
matt and i went to c-bus yesterday to take care of some stuff and to watch the game with my family. after we got our important stuff done we slipped out and went to piercology. (god i love that place!) and i got my tragus pierced. the piercer told me i had the smallest tragus she had ever seen. now i have a cute little purple barbell in my cute little tragus
(or as matt calls it, my litte nub).

and for those of you who do not know what a tragus is (it isn't x-rated) this is a definition.

tragus - The small piece of cartilage at the front of the ear, joining on to your cheek.

once again my time is running out on here. i plowed thru several images before my subscription runs out.

i'll probably get around to renewing, just not right away though.
and yes, i like complaining about my subscription ending.
everyone else does it so why can't i?

[fall where are you]

Tue Aug 29, 2006, 1:45 PM

i seariously cannot wait until fall weather is here.
or even *gasp* snow. i'm a fall baby. and i want fall weather damnit.
the leaves need to start changing. i want to wear long sleaved shirts.
have leaves crunch under my feet. and get a cold red nose.
smell "fall smell", which is the smell of fire being burned in the fireplace.
i'm tired of it being summer right now.
no more tan. don't want to drink anymore lemonade to keep cool.
just want to wrap in blankets in front of a fire.

[the birthday]

Fri Aug 18, 2006, 6:31 AM

this weekend is my mother's birthday. a monumental age--but i won't say how old exactly.
:whisper: *** 60 ***
a few of us are getting together and celebrating with her. i'm excited. i haven't really seen my parents for a couple of weeks. they just got back from another vacation. :faint: i can't wait until all i have to do is travel.

i plan to upload some images at some point soon. nothing i would call glorious art, but at least i can make a contribution to the art community in someway or another. what i need to do is force myself to sit down and learn how to us photoshop. still can't figure it all out. and since i don't know anything about it still even though i have used it several times, it makes ME feel old. and i'm not. 24 is not old--of course in a few weeks i'll be 25. but i suppose this is perfectly normal. when i was younger, i could zip through computer related things so fast. i guess i am slowing down now. but i'm not giving up hope just yet.

if the weather is nice, i want to shoot some this weekend.
but we will see. there are so many other things that i NEED to do.
"fun" adult things. :sarcasticclap:

i really miss being in college.....
it was one of the best times of my life.

[blink this]

Thu Aug 17, 2006, 6:38 AM

has anyone seen these blinky picture things before?
i feel like i am way behind on "cool" stuff
since i have no been online so much.
but i love them and want to put them on everything i see now! :giggle: how crazy is that? so aside from my new blinky happiness, i've been ok.
i need another vacation. but then again, doesn't everyone?
last night i didn't get much sleep.
it's one of those nights where you're tired but you're not. and there are a zillion other things you would rather do than be a wuss and sleep. such as reading a great book. which is what i would have wanted to do instead of being "adult" and going to bed at a reasonable time. so i wouldn't be grouch in the morning. which i was anyways. and what sucked even more, was i had to rush around this morning because i woke up late.
i hate doing that. but if i am ready way before i need to leave, i think i have forgotten to do something.
i have learned, i can and will never win when it comes to life.

p.s. who has myspace??????
tell me your name so i can find you!

holy crap. i've been gone so much this year.
in fact i just don't really care anymore about this place--honestly.
there is so much going on in my life right now, there is not enough time to play.
so i haven't submitted any real sort of work.
i do have several images that i need to upload on here.
especially several that i have taken while i was on vacation in destin, florida.

i'm thinking about creating a prints account.
mainly because i want to purchase some of my own prints. :giggle:
sad i know.
but i have no way to really do prints otherwise.
so i figure--why not?
i get a prints account and i get a free mini sub to dev art.
until i actually get back into the swing of things on here.

boo-yah.

so here is my mini update.
enjoy my presence while you can.

i feel like screaming so loud right now.
wedding stuff is pissing me off. nothing seems to be going right!
when i try and go to wedding websites, the "experts" are bitchy and tell me rediculous things. people who call me bridezilla should shove their pencil up their nose. i'm not a bridezilla! why is it, if i don't agree with everyone's opinions then i am a bridezilla? i guess being an asshole and pissing me off then telling me i am bridezilla is ok because i am getting married. wow! no one holds back when it comes to opinions. you know what i say?

i've been way too busy to be online at deviant art, which is very unfortunate. for those of you who haven't figured it out yet, i'm engaged and planning my wedding this fall. :floating:

you can check out my latest "art" in my journal--yeah, that means you actually have to click it open to see what i've been up to. if you subscribe to my scraps as well, you've probably been confused as to what the heck all that pink is.

well, it is my wedding crinoline that i have dyed pink.
for those of you who don't know...
:whisper: that is the slip under the wedding dress.
and don't feel bad, i only found this out recently myself.

so i figured i would do something different and out of the norm for my wedding.
i can't wait to wear it--i'll look bitchin'. :headbang:

[thunder inside]

Fri Mar 31, 2006, 4:40 PM

the rain should start falling sometime soon.
it's been threatening rain all day, and i think it is finally going to come.
one thing about spring i love the most--thunderstorms.
they are fierce and exciting.
but strangely reflecting how i feel right now.

tomorrow i am hoping to go to the store and get some frames for the prints i just purchased. slowly i am getting the house set up to where it looks like a home. but it will still take a lot of time, money and work to get it all squared away.

and, then after all that--i'll be ready to move again.

i'd like to be on the move a lot personally.
life is so short, how can you stay in one place for long?

:spotlight-left: ATTN: COLUMBUS, OH PEOPLE:spotlight-right:

[decorate my walls]

Wed Mar 29, 2006, 5:59 PM

i think more people need to get print accounts.
well, more people who are on my watch list, and whose art i  so much.
there are so many images i would love to display on my walls.
i'm tempted to buy some people print accounts.
but then who is to say how much they would charge for their work. :plotting:
i've bought several images already, and some were dirt cheap in my opinion.
which is good for me, and can be good for the artist as well--somewhat.
but there are some really incredible images that i want still.
why can everyone have an account so i can get the images i want. :shakefist:

oh well....

whoever said that robins = spring should be shot.
what a  :poo: statement.
i think it has snowed 2 or 3 times since i first saw a robin this year.
but i think it is finally going to be spring now.
we're supposed to have temperatures in the 50s this week.
so that is exciting.
i am becoming so lazy and bored because the weather sucks.
hopefully weather will be nice this weekend.
then i can go out and photograph some outdoors.
i'd like to do more portraits--but i need to be outside.
definantly experiencing cabin fever here folks. :faint:
